Saving of access data

As soon as a site of H&D is accessed or a file is called this access data, together with the information from the browser, is saved in a logfile on our server.

Every data record consists of:

• the page from which the file has been requested
• the name of the file
• the date and time of the request
• the transferred data quantity
• the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
• a description of the type of web browser used
• the IP-address of the client

Security of your person-related data

To protect your person-related data against unauthorized access during transfer, H&D uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) transfer. All transferred information, also personal information such as name and address, credit card number, bank code and account number are encrypted and so can not be read by unauthorized persons during transfer.

Personal information which you leave in public areas, e.g. in a guest book, can be accessed by other users of the websites. It cannot be protected against the risk of misuse.

Transfer of your data

The stored data mentioned in item “Storage of access data” is used exclusively for statistical purposes. This data is not revealed to third parties neither for commercial nor for non-commercial purposes unless requested by law or public offices.

Person-related data [person-related data means individual information about a personal or immaterial relationship with one or more defined natural persons (references)] is revealed by the user explicitly on a voluntary basis The data is not passed on to third parties unless requested by law or by public offices.

Cookies

H&D uses cookies in some parts of its website. Cookies can also appear on linked foreign websites. We cannot inform you in advance about these links.

Cookies are small text files which are transferred to your computer together with the requested website data. They are stored there and made available for a later call.

In particular, so-called session cookies are needed during log-in as part of our user-friendly handling process and for authentication as well as for access control in different areas of our website.

This includes the setup of a “session” between the client and the server. A session enables one to move through the whole website without being forced to log-in for every area separately. This session is represented by a cookie which stores a generated random value.

The validity of cookies is limited to the period of use of our website. The cookies will automatically be deleted after termination of the Browser. The cookies are not linked with person-related data.

Links to other websites

In case of direct or indirect pointers to foreign websites ('Hyperlinks') which lie beyond the responsibility of H&D, H&D will be liable only if H&D is aware of their illegal content and does not end the link(s) with the website(s) immediately. H&D explicitly declares that the linked websites were free from obvious illegal contents at the time of linking.

H&D has no influence on the current and future contents of linked websites. Therefore, H&D explicitly distances itself from the contents of all linked websites which have been modified after linking. The provider will be solely responsible for illegal, erroneous and/or incomplete contents as well as for damages resulting from the use or non-use of such offered information on a website to which a link is set.

H&D is only liable for the contents of entries from third parties on the websites setup by H&D is if H&D has prior knowledge of the illegal contents and has not erased the relevant entry immediately.

Right for information
