Ever since 2006, H&D has been building on their competencies regarding mobile applications. A focus has been on the challenges particularly related to mobile applications:

• online / offline use (e.g. data replication)
• security (e.g. authentication, encryption)
• user interface design, Usability (small displays, new logic)
• deployment to mobile devices
• (in the consumer field:) graphic design

The tools we have developed run on all current platforms:

H&D's Apple Competence Center

All our developers in the Competence Center are Apple Certified Professionals. Their main focus is on development, consulting and support for current Apple platforms (iPhone/iPad/iPodTouch - iOS4, and MacBook/iMac/MacPro - Mac OS X).

iPad Integration

With the growing importance of Apple devices in business, companies face a number of technical challenges. While the operating system iOS does allow, for instance, connection with messaging services (although not on a plug&play basis), major security issues need to be solved prior to the use of such devices in a business sphere. For example, which applications should be made available on iPads – would you set limitations through blacklists or whitelists? Finally, your IT admin personnel certainly want to provide standardized services for all devices in order to work efficiently.
